Being Sick

Once I came home my humans realized that I was underweight and breathing weird.
They said I was breathing abnormally, my breaths were raspy, it sounded like I was an old man gasping for breath while dying. They also noticed how bony and skinny I was. They took me to the scary people they call "Vets." The vets said that I was incredibly underweight I was. They also said that I had heart worms. My humans said that they would put me down if needed. The vets then said that since I had so little heart worms, they were under control and able to be treated. My small human said it was like cancer, there is no cure, but it can be treated for. After I began taking the pills and medicine treats, while having injections every month, I started becoming way better at living. I could run, I could bark, I could sleep, my airway didn't seem blocked, I could finally live the life every dog dreams of having. Since I was underweight, my humans had to start giving me this weird wet food a lot. Then I became a lot heavier and my humans think that I am in good weight conditions now. They say I'm not the smartest of all dogs because they think I ran into or laid in an ant bed, and now my chest had red itchy bumps all over in hard to reach spots. They constantly tell me to stop itching because I do it all the time and I'm loud. But In reality, I'm just super itchy.
